Women’s History Month Highlight: Sierra Fletcher
Women’s History Month Highlight: Sierra Fletcher
Happy Women’s History Month! Every year, March is designated to honor women’s contributions to American history throughout the years.
In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re sharing stories of our Titus teammates who are promoting excellence in our operations and inspiring other women to follow in their steps.
Today we are highlighting Sierra Fletcher, a Senior Director on our Sales team. Sierra grew up in a small town in Oregon, so after high school, she couldn’t wait to spread her wings and see new things. She was recruited to swim competitively at the University of Wisconsin which put her in the perfect place to find us at Titus Talent Strategies. Shortly after joining Titus, she moved with her family back to her hometown in Oregon where she has been ever since. She now has a wonderful husband who is wildly supportive of her and her career and goals. They have 2 amazing daughters – who are her biggest fans and her ultimate Why.
When asked about being in a leadership position as a female, Sierra said, “I believe that leadership is about empowering others and creating a supportive, inclusive work environment. Throughout my career I have focused on building strong relationships with colleagues and mentoring and supporting other women to help them achieve their goals. I am passionate about promoting equity and inclusivity in the workplace and creating opportunities for the next generation of women leaders. I believe my commitment to excellence and my dedication to our people and our partners is a major reason why I am where I am today at Titus. I want to continue to dedicate my career to bringing other women up with me and to demonstrate to my girls how to show up for themselves and achieve whatever they set their sights on.”

What does Women’s History Month mean to you?
Women’s History Month is an opportunity to reflect on the progress women have made in various fields and industries. It’s a time to celebrate the achievements of women who have paved the way and made significant contributions to society. It’s also a reminder of the work that still needs to be done to achieve gender equity and equality in all areas of life.
What can women in leadership like you do to embrace equity and empower the next generation of women in workplace?
As women in leadership, we have a responsibility to mentor and support the next generation of women leaders. We can do this by creating opportunities for them to learn, grow and develop their skills. This includes providing mentorship, training, and sponsorship opportunities. We can also advocate for policies and practices that promote equity and inclusivity in the workplace. This can include things like pay equity, flexible work arrangements, and diverse hiring practices.
Who is the most influential woman in your personal life?
The most influential woman in my personal life is my mother. She has always been a role model for me in terms of her work ethic, her perseverance, and her commitment to her family. She taught me the value of hard work and the importance of setting goals and working towards them. She has always been a source of support and encouragement for me, and I am grateful for her presence in my life.
What female public figure, past or present, inspires you and why?
One female public figure who inspires me is Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She was a trailblazer in her field and worked tirelessly to promote gender equity and justice. Her commitment to the law and her advocacy for women’s rights was truly remarkable. She was also a role model for resilience and perseverance, overcoming numerous obstacles in her career and personal life.
What piece of advice would you give to women finding their way in the workplace/leadership role?
My advice to women finding their way in the workplace/leadership role would be to stay focused, stay determined, and never give up. The road to success is rarely easy, and there will be challenges and setbacks along the way. But with perseverance and hard work, anything is possible. It’s also important to seek out mentors and allies who can provide guidance and support, and to build a network of colleagues and peers who can help you navigate the complex landscape of the workplace. Finally, it’s important to stay true to your values and to advocate for what you believe in. When women come together to support and empower each other, amazing things can happen.
At Titus Talent Strategies, we are surrounded by an incredible team of powerful women. Stay tuned throughout the month for more highlights of our Titus women.
